Extraction and Availability:In Brazil, copper production is primarily concentrated in the states of Pará, Goiás, and Bahia. Pará is the largest producer, responsible for about 85% of national production, mainly in the Carajás Mineral Province. Goiás contributes to approximately 6% of the output, while Bahia accounts for around 9%. There are different types of copper deposits in the country, including porphyry deposits, which represent about 61% of global production, and sedimentary deposits, which correspond to about 20% of global output.
